Common Uses
Clarinase is a drug used to treat allergies, and marketed for its nonsedating properties. It is good in treatment seasonal allergies such as runny nose; sneezing; itchy, watery eyes; or itching of the nose and throat. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to Take

Warning and Precautions
Clarinase may interfere with skin allergy tests. If you are scheduled for a skin test, talk to your doctor. You may need to stop taking Clarinase for a few days before the tests. Pregnancy and Breast-feeding: If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Clarinase while you are pregnant. Clarinase is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Clarinase, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby. Do not take this medicine with orange, apple or grapefruit juice. The levels of this medicine in your blood may be decreased by 70%.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Clarinase, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Overdose
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center
Storage
Store Clarinase at room temperature, in a tightly closed container. Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Clarinase out of the reach of children and away from pets.
